Ok, so my iPod is acting weird. I got my iPod back from my friend a few days ago, and got the cord back today. I suspect nothing is wrong with it. I go on it to put some songs on there, and put album covers on it. When I try to listen to some Flashbulb, it ****s up and now it's stuck at menu. It's between the songlist and the actual menu where the song is. Any help?

Lock it on and off three times. Then hold menu and the center button until it restarts. That's usually how I fix mine. ;]Comment

I've had a lot of trouble with ipods in the past. I had to send 3 back to apple and get a new one until i finally got the current one i have that has lasted about a year.

I never understood why people let other people borrow their ipods. If they can't afford their own they should turn on the freaking radio. I hope you don't have to dish out money for a new one dude.The weight of what I say depends on how you feel.Comment

Yeah, but if it keeps doing that, I do have a temporary solution to stop it- drop your iPod from a fairly reasonable height (3-4 feet-ish) onto a surface such as a carpet. Do NOT drop it onto a hard surface (wooden flooring, stones, lol etc). Dropping it onto something too soft (like a mattress) will do absolutely nothing for it. Dropping it onto the carpet, for some reason, stops this problem (unless you have a nano) temporarily. Worked for me for about 6 months.Originally posted by DossarLX ODIComment

In the future, just remember holding the center button and the menu button is the standard reset... I think it's 5 seconds, so it happens quickly.
