Yeah, I had surgery today. They were removing 2/3 of my bone in my left big toe (long story, but they had to get the bone out of the way to kill some infection), but discovered it was much bigger than they thought. I guess they had to cut it back much further, and in the process, they had no choice but to remove the roots of my toenail.
No more toenail for that toe.
Which is kinda good in a way, if they were to leave it there, my toenail would grow under and tunnel beneath my nail bed. Ouch.
I'm currently on a bunch of pain medications and I don't have to go to school for the next 3 days, which is awesome, because that gives me the entire week off (Thanksgiving)!
So yeah, I'm missing over 2/3 of my toe bone and now I can squish it and all of that fun stuff... in 2 weeks though
