I've never gotten infected with adware before coming to this website, and I'm now getting obtrusive, random popups from "Internet speed monitor" even when my browser is closed. Spybot's not picking anything up. Anyone have a suggestion?

See if under programs from the start menu if the last one on the list has "Internet Speed Monitor" Just uninstall that and I'm pretty sure that will clear up the problem if it's just that. I've had it happen twice to on this computer of mine and I've uninstalled, and it's fine.

Either that or install adaware... Depending on whether or not it's a program on your computer or not.
