Was bored. Looking at some stuff... when I noticed this...
I would think there'd be A LOT more posts than that. Doesn't anyone else agree?

Or is there some yearly thing when the forum is cleaned out and stuff?

It's hard to say how many posts would be made over a span of 4-5 years. But if you think about it, almost 2 million posts is a lot of posts. Say the message board has been around for 4 years..... 1.8 million posts would be approximately 1232 a day. And I doubt there were that many posts in the beginning, when there were hardly any members here.

But, as for the question, I couldn't say if it seems right. Does 1232 a day seem more accurate though?

well solo said everything pretty much. it'll grow much faster now and days, and the average (1232 according to solo) will increase dramatically over the next year.

Oh they definitely clean out the forum. I lost, literally, around 2000 posts a little while back.

And yes, with the current 70-90K active members, they definitely are getting friends into FFR so membership will increase, more or less like a hierarchy. This will result in exponentially higher post rates per day.

That basically means that when this started, we had far below the average. But that also means that now, we should have more than the average.

Maybe the "1 mil Get" thing could be part of the cause?

FFR's always been slower than a lot of forums. People seem to scrape by, but maybe it's just me.
