United States Technical Services (USTS) currently has three part time Help Desk positions at our facility in Huntington Beach. We currently operate a Tactical Operations Center supporting our clients throughout the United States 24 x 7 x365. These positions will compliment our current staff as our client base continues to grow.
These positions will for Saturday and Sunday with the possibility of fill-in during the week as required.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first and second tier support for a wide ranging and diverse group of clients. Duties include:
~Remotely supporting users, printers, terminals and workstations located throughout the United States
~Provide first level support of warehouse applications and hardware
~Constant monitoring of alerts and environments to ensure functionality and availability
~Provide start to finish tracking and follow-up of issues to ensure timely resolution
~Field incoming help requests from end users via both e-mail and telephone in a prompt, courteous manner
~Document all pertinent end user identification information, including summary of the issue, categorization of the issue, and nature of problem or issue
~Act as the focal point for follow-up and escalation between the client and the field engineer
Qualifications for this position:
~One year experience in a call center environment
~High school diploma or GED
~Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
~Positive attitude
~Exceptional written and oral communication skills
~Strong documentation skills
~Tact and sensitivity in customer communications
~Proficiency in general computer skills
~High work ethic and values
~Ability to work with limited supervision and be a self-starter
All candidates will be required to pass a drug and background test. Salary is dependent on previous experience. This is a long-term position with possibility for growth.
