Pimp Your Windows XP!

Yeah, I like to think I have a pretty pimped out computer. So I decided to make a pack with a crap load of things you can install you make your windows XP look Pretty much EXACTLY the same as Windows vista. There is a lot more I have on my computer to make it look like vista, but I just decided to add the main things.

Heres a Pic of My Desktop with the Stuff in that pack. I didn't really feel like taking a screenshot of everything on my computer, so I just took a picture of my desktop with the internet open, so you can see the transparent stuff (Task Bar, Internet Bar or whatever)



Edit: Sorry I forgot to add the vista skin, I'll go get the patch for skins, and a link to the Vista skin I have.

Also yes, after installing the patch it turns your theme to windows classic, and it might seem weird and stuff, but as soon as it does the restart, everything goes back to normal.

if you want a good skin go to:

right click on desktop > properties > themes > windows classic

I'd get it it didn't have the huge sidebar on the right and the windows media miniplayer.

You don't need the sidebar, nor the media player. It comes with a bunch of folders with different program for you to choose from.

Looks amazing but I'm having some problems with it.

It keeps telling me the themes aren't valid and when I restart my computer it removes the EreN Vista themes and my wallpaper. The sidebar doesn't stay up either. How can I set it so that this doesn't happen and get rid of the 'this is not a valid theme' error I get when I click properties >_>

edit: alright so the paper stays now and the error doesn't come up, but the styles theme and the aero sidebar are always removed when I restart.

I think I'd be more impressed if your screenshot included some sort of proof that it's indeed Windows XP. Like right clicking My Computer and selecting properties, then leaving that window open. I'd also be more impressed if I cared about my explorer.exe looking snazzy.

You can tell it's XP if you've used Vista.

The windows on his are simply transparent, without the slight blur that Vista has. Also, "Run" is integrated into the search bar in Vista.
