I got into a really good argument today and it was fuuun...
I work at Space Center Houston at the gift shop and when we close, the gate comes down. We were still checking customers out after the gate lowered when a kid - inside the store - starts to climb up the gate. I yelled at the kid, "Get off the gate!". The kid's parent - who was checking out - immediately told me to say please as I began to walk to the back room to pull out merchandise to put it out on the floor. I turned around and said, "I won't be saying please if the gate comes down on top of him. Also, he shouldn't be climbing the gate in the first place." She became silent and walked out the door after checking out. As she walked out the door, I whispered to myself, "B****."
Pretty much all of my co-workers heard about it and rooted me on. I felt pretty good about what I did, but I wonder if my GM will hear about it.
