This is true, however he did say he BS'd some speed scores, though did not specify exactly which ones. Vertex Gamma was one of them (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un1IRBIYf-4)
You can't really compare the two because they are separate games. That's like saying who's better at their respective sport: Michael Jordan (b-ball) or Wayne Gretzky (hockey)?
You guys just have to acknowledge that each is the "best" in their own right at the game that they play, but they just can't be compared to each other.
That Nima video is obviously fake though. There's no sound and the screen is refreshing like crazy, and the camera's jumping around with excessive jerkiness as is Nima's hands and head. He made the video silent because it'd be obvious with speedup (the sound would be all high-pitched)
Most of Nima's 'good scores' (i.e. ones that were better than mine) were bs.
As for Wooke...yea, am I the only one that sees the huge glaring problem with that ini video?
He could have easily edited the stepfile. Unless the video was edited and there is footage of him playing the file before that point.
I say this because on my keyboard that score simply isn't possible. There's no reason to believe anyone can jackhammer substantially faster than me based on scores on other files (e.g. blur 1.7x), and I fail at the 64th section of one minutes almost instantaneously (meanwhile my performance on the rest of the file is far better). It could be possible, given his keyboard is significantly better at registering that many notes, but I have to be skeptical.
I have and play on the very same keyboard WookE plays on (same type. Logitech Elite LE), and I could never get my keyboard to register that well. Its just not possible, on this computer at least
"Hey Keywii" Said Foil in a raspy voice.
"Hey Foil. What's that you got there?" inquired Keywii.
"Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.
Can someone host the One Minutes file so I can give the Edit mode a shot?
I want to see how fast this guy is pressing these buttons.
Reach: Thing is, it's just the video split up. He does show the footage of himself playing before he shows the judge and ini.
Well, I don't have the file anymore, and I don't have winbpm, but by ear the song sounds like it's about 220 bpm. The notes are 64ths, so you have 59 arrows per second. Alternatively if you want to treat them like quads it's 15 hits per second (30 if you play doubles, which isn't possible so quadding is the only option), though not all the arrows will register that way under your standard judge value. Not even close. Given the input of 59 arrows per second alone most keyboards are not going to be able to register anything. Mine included...so it must be the keyboard and or the computer (low fps can cause weird problems that improve registration...at least from a lifebar standpoint, as I've experienced this before).
Rebirth gave it to me and I gave it a shot. Was doing decently until the end, which SLAUGHTERED me. I can vibrate pretty well (I can clock out that online jacking game at the max of 160) and the ending completely obliterates me.
I took a cursory look in the SM editor -- it looks like nearly 15 taps per finger per second (so roughly 60 for all four fingers).
220 BPM 64th rolls which is 4 different sets of 16th jacks with the rolls alternating to different directions making you put your speed up a little to supprt the switch and then continue hammering. Unlikely.
