WTF Firefox

my firefox is not working

i can access the internet through internet explorer..but not firefox.
My firewall has firefox as one of the exceptions..and even when i turn it off, it still can not connect to the interenet

anyone have any ideas?

uninstall Firefox / reinstall Firefox (?). Shouldn't take too long.

Clearing your cache and cookies might help. That, or maybe you need to find a new version or change firewall settings. Doing a google search if you're stuck couldn't hurt.

i am uninstalling norton atm




yes i have tried forcing a reboot, but i've done that loads of times before and nothing has happened all those other times

Backup any bookmarks, extension information, etc.
Uninstall Firefox.
Delete this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\%username&\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
Install Firefox.
