Re: Life + FFR
I find it sort of hard to see how FFR can take that much time, or feel...mandatory to some? Then again, I'm not a very competitive about this so I naturally lack that knowledge or experience of playing on here doing 100+ games per day just to keep my rank or something.
Not sure...I've never had my grades really wain severely because of a game but I have forgotten to do something because I just placed it as a lesser priority. Thankfully, homework rarely counts for much at all in my classes...even collectively.
FFR for me personally, is just something I play when I don't feel like playing some other sort of game...I enjoy it, I'm not "bad" but it's certainly not something I care to really compete in. On the other hand, when I played Gears of War more...I was in an official MLG clan and we had practice that could be 4-6 hours on the days that we did them and that often led in me forgetting some minor assignment."What is good? All that heightens the feeling of power in man, the will to power, power itself. What is bad? All that is born of weakness. What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome."

Re: Life + FFR
<----
Having a life + good grades + FFR is doable
< /arrogance >
Anyways, like any other enjoyable activity in life, keeping things in moderation is key. Overindulgence will lead to a decrease in quality in other facets of life, which obviously isn't good. Try to limit your time spent playing if you can. Keep your priorities straight and make sure you get the important things out of the way before spending hours playing games on the computer. FFR is just a game -- it's a lot of fun, yes, but your grades are ultimately more important, as is your social life.Comment
