sigh...well I get to go play tomorrow at least... hopefully my friends will play vs with me on light mode so they can keep me alive on songs I can't quite pass yet

The most informative guide on trance in general on the internet. Of course if you want to get a lot of the genres like psy "in depth" you'd probably be best to ask on a msgboard but that place generally gives you a good idea of what a lot of genres are like (PS: Some of them are made up for comedy value, so keep that in mind when viewing the guide)

It's not all "dance" music. But yes, there is some comedic value in it sometimes providing you actually know anything about it. Hell, just look at Gabba.
