when i start to play a fast song, i press too many buttons at once and my computer starts to make a beeping noise. it laggs up and i lose the song. anyone know how to fix it?

It's not a RAM problem (I wasn't taking a shot at your computer). I think it's a keyboard mapping problem.
Try pressing <, ^, 6, 8 (on the number pad) all at the same time and see if it beeps. It not then you can use that to play.
Also, try pressing a,s,d,w all at the same time.
If none of that works borrow a keyboard from someone and see if that works instead.

Numlock fixes the problem.
Some keyboards don't let you hit Up and Left at the same time. I had one back in the day.
