ok...yeah its xp....and do you know the name of the disk or what it would b called...i had a friend whose amazing with computers set it up..so either him or my dad has it..otherwise its in my room somewhere

Operating System. Like Windows XP maybe?
The CD should have come with the computer when you bought it, and it's really wasy to do. You just insert it in your CD drive (the thing where you put games cd's).
The computer should do the rest. It will say

I already told him how to reformat and what your telling him to do is a windows reformat which deletes nothing but the stuff you do want lol...you gatta repartition your hard drive...Oh also I forgot to mention in the PM...when it asks to repartition just delete everything then make a new drive with all the memory it has listed.

yes it is windows xp. and i had a family friend who is amazing with computers install it..so he either has it or my dad im pretty sure.

You really think he knows what your talking about Fido? And Reformating completely erases everything from your computer.

Now, I'm looking at mine and it says "Reinstallation CD: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition."
Talk to your friend and see if he has it.

I stated it to him simply step by step...the window that pops up that says it reformats your computer for you does nothing.

lsass is a basic system backround process that is essential to the successful operation of the operating system. When you installed Maplestory, somehting screwy must have happened and when it entered into the registry some errors arose.

You say you can't boot into safe mode, but are you sure you are doing it right? You can boot into safe mode straight from the bios with, depending on your bios, the F8 key. Other than that, I suppose a system reformat would solve the issue, but that would kind of me last ditch. See if you can get a hold of the XP installation CD, and try addressing some of the windows recovery console suggestions and perhaps attempting to repaire the boot table.

ill try..hes older than em though..so hes really bz. i can keep looking in the meantime though

EDIT: ive tried entering safe mode by f8...it just has a black screen that says safe mode..then the error pops up..nothing happens

Ok well, before you reformat, whenever you get the XP installation CD, try running the recovery console.

recovwery sounsole?.....and i dont have a pass on my computer...but i did hear thats how this worm or w/e occurs

EDIT: found something called a restoration kit(3 cd's) is that it?

Besides the fact that I have no idea wgar a "recovwery sounsole" is, nor a "sd", I'd say yes. What is the full name of the CD's? Which company?
