My computer skills are just fine. I've installed Registry Fix, and Ad-Aware Plus 07, but I had to go before I could try spybot or Panda antivirus.
Plus my mouse is out of batteries so I'm 100% keyboard right now.Comment

Why on earth would you think that's a registry problem? Last time I checked registry problems don't make the taskbar advertise antivirus solutions. It's a virus that makes itself as annoying as possible, then advertises the virus maker's antivirus program in hopes the infectee will be annoyed enough to buy their program to get rid of their virus.

I'd say that you should just do one of those system recovery things... to the morning before the problem happened... They should have one for every day, so you shouldn't have any problem with it.

system restore would work if the restore point is really far back there may be a little data loss, but nothing a flash drive cant hold.

Registry Fix only repairs the registry, it also removes un-needed, or dangerous registry files. Making the viruses or spyware harder to activate themselves. I've had problems of this sort a lot. However Panda seems to solve all of my problems. It is the strongest Antivirus in history. However it puts a **** of a load on your computer.Comment

Listen to the people who suggested the programs in safe mode. They all work decently well.Comment
