What gets me is on the list of people "no longer on death row" there were 23 cases of convictions being reversed, acquittals on appeal, and overturned sentences. Thank goodness they're so slow on getting the people executed.

The flour tortilla and water is actually to be used in an elaborate scheme to escape. Not so much the same can be said about the sandwich.

The whole thing is kind of depressing though.

Very depressing. Keep in mind, look at the crimes they've been convicted for. If they are in fact guilty, I don't have very much remorse, though the idea that "an eye for an eye" is the right thing to do just doesn't work for me.

I don't like the idea of the government executing much of anybody.
