Broke up with my girlfriend today. She said that she doesn't love me the way she used to. This relationship went on for about 2-3 months and started to crash at the last week or two.

She said I did nothing wrong, it's entirely her I suppose.

Anyways, that sucks man, but 2-3 months is a little soon to be speaking about love and things of that nature. Teenage love is often volatile, misunderstood, and shortlived. We all go through it, sure, it's valuable learning, but try not to take it too hard.

Relax dude. You've got my sympathy cuz I've had a relationship as short as 16 days. But my current relationship has lasted 17 months so far. I can tell you that in order to know that your relationship isn't too good to be true, you've got to pass at least the 6 month mark.

What probably happened is that there was that first attraction that was like a sugar rush, so the flame died quick, since it might not have had something to sustain it.

That's usually what it is when the relationship is relatively short and one person tells the other that it's not their fault about the change of feeling.

Of course, I don't know what went on for you, so don't take this as disrespect, since I don't mean any.

I've dealt with breakups worse than you seem to be doing, so believe me I've been there. Just let wash over you and get back to yourself, since you are the most important thing in your life.

Teen relationships are almost always like that. Just get your experience and then get out. It's not worth spending all of your energy on it.

When I was 16 I had a relationship that lasted two years -- didn't mean it was necessarily healthy, but congratulations to you if it is! lol

The problem with relationships at a young age is that we're always changing and there are just too many transitional periods and too many maturity issues. A lot of people aren't really ready to take on what a relationship demands. In this case, it was probably a girl who had what's called "Rose Tinted Glasses" syndrome, lol. When you first get with someone you are always excited to see them and they seem virtually perfect, and then after a while that feeling fades. The newness of the relationship and the chase are sometimes all people crave at that age, so it's likely that she just felt that newness die away.

Don't sweat it though, dude. Even the best players and those with great relationships have been rejected and felt heartbreak the most times.

you have plenty of time to get in another relationship.... youre a teenager, dont worry about it..... breakups happen all the time.... you just gotta learn to bounce back... to not dwell on what was, rather focus on what is. just dont make the same mistakes repeatadly....


maturity is a big thing in relationships at this age.... all the chicks in my school only like older dudes because apparently, older = insta-mature..... and the majority of the underclassmen only wanna date upperclassmen so they can brag to their friend and say they ****in a junior/senior.....

thats how it is at my school, and i think its retarded.

get someone whos not in it for sex, etc.... someone whos better than that....
