I just got tired of it because I had to go out of my way to type the way I did. It wasn't cool or efficient. I was around 14-15 when I stopped typing that way.

I stopped using "txt tlk" at age 13, after about a year of using it in games. I don't think I've ever used it in a forum setting, since I didn't really start posting in forums until age 14...at least, I didn't have a post count higher than nine in any forums I visited before that.
