That literally burns my head (no pun intended.) These idiots need to realize that Judaism is not an ethnicity. ITS A FUCKING RELIGION. YOU CANNOT BE HALF OF A FUCKING RELIGION!

If they are so inistent on the fact they come from Jewish decent, Use the CORRECT term. Hebrew.

This actually happens to alot of people. Around where I live *which is filled with complete idiots* if you say you're buddhist, they'll automatically think your chinese. and if you say you're asian they'll be like "WTF? I THOUGHT YOU'RE JAPANESE!!!" Ahh all these misconceptions these days >.>

Not necessarily. Let's said my dad was jewish (because obviously he probably believed in that religion), and I was his daughter, I would be of jewish DESCENT. But it wouldn't exactly mean that I was a jew unless I decided to believe in that religion...
