you usually get 6 mb/s on a basic ftp with a basic cable line.. but yeah that's good for opera i guess

^ Anyone can jack my connection. It's wireless without any security. Yeah, blame my parents. I say no, they insist on keeping it insecure. Especially considering how slow it is and the fact that business guys always park their cars across the street from our house (hmmmmm), it annoys me.

Ever since we switched to DSL due to "financial problems" (aka horrible investing and poor decision making, we make 65 grand a year, more than enough to live in NJ without basic luxuries >__>), the Internet sucks. I can't browse and torrent at the same time. I had to cap my upload and download rates to 50 kbps each so I can browse. With broadband, I could upload/download 600 kbps and browse with ease.

That's a really ****ing sweet connection by the way.

And I used to live about 20 minutes from there.
