You know what, I never had heard about the guy. The last time I watched any of those types of videos was at the championchips a few years ago when 22 seconds became the record.


That guy is very read up. He started the same way I did, so a ton of his thoughts and instructions are so easy to follow for me. Thanks for the site reference 87x. After 5 minutes on his site, I have already learned 2 algorithms that will help reduce my time.


Oh, and my record is a 50 seconds.



On Scrambling a cube:
You are not making turns on the cube and memrizing them. The way you can show this is by scrambling for a few moves, toss it up with a spin, and make more scramble moves. (Do this a few times. It messes up your orientation on the cube)

People all scramble a different way, and it doesn't help them to cheat themselves, especially when they make way more than 20 moves, which all scrambles are.

taking the squares out is a b!tch too. but my record cheating was about... half of a second (i turned one row and then turned it back, I WIN)

I had a Rubiks Sphere once one day I got super-pissed so I threw it at the floor and it like shattered so I just put all the peices back together in the right places and was all like OOOHHH YYY EEEE AAAA HHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My record on doing a Rubiks cube was...45 minutes I believe.

I haven't used one of those things in years, though.

I now have 3 new top-layer algorythms, so I will do a lot of solving and hopefully have a time up by Sunday.
