So uh...has anyone seen an error like this?(linux,ubuntu)

I posted this on the Ubuntu Forums, but I also want to post it here to see if anyone has seen or fixed this type of problem.

Ok so, 6 times now I have tried to install Ubuntu (from 2 different official Ubuntu CDs) on my computer (2 times working, but I will get to that). Basically this topic is about an error that I have gotten 4 times in my 6 installs. It happens at about 1/7th of the bar when loading Ubuntu 7.04 (after a fresh install). The screen goes black for a moment then it shows a page full of this:
(pretend these are all different numbers and letters, I dont feel like typing out different things)

I am able to type things and use line breaks, but nothing does anything. There are no error messages

Here is a history of my Ubuntu installations:

Crappy old 8 gb harddrive:
1. (partitions: 1 reiserFS, ubuntu 6.06) Error shown

Crappy old 10 gb harddrive
2. (partition: 1 ext 2, I installed using the default settings, ubuntu 6.06) It works, but after two weeks I get some nasty write errors and I cant boot it anymore
3. (partition: 1 ReiserFS Ubuntu 7.04) Error shown
4. (partition: 1 ext 2, I installed using the default settings Ubuntu 7.04) It works, but not even 4-5 days after installation it gets more write errors

New 320 Gigabyte Western Digital Caviar SE ATA Harddrive (ubuntu 7.04)
5. Partitions:
/dev/hdb1 50 gigs ext3 /
/dev/hdb2 110 gigs ext3 /home
/dev/hdb3 79.5 gigs ex3 /var/www
/dev/hdb5 1 gigs Swap (Logical partition)
/dev/hdb6 79.5 gigs Fat32 /storage (yeah this was a bad idea but I didnt feel like going back and starting the partitioner again)
Output: I got the error shown....except at the end it had info about my fat32 partition (still no errors) so I wiped that out. I got the same thing again except without the fat32 partition info

6. Similar partition scheme, except no fat32 partition and I used EXT2 thinking that it would work.
Nope. Saaaaaaame god damned error message. At this point im ready to break something.

512 MB's of Ram
Nvidia Geforce4 Ti 4200
My motherboard is from Abit, what chipstet, I dont know. It doesnt have Sata (Not 100% sure but there didnt appear to be anything on my motherboard that even began to look like Sata plugs), and it doesnt have pci-express slots.

Anyone know what my god damned problem is? sorry for the long post.

The other weird thing is that i've installed it before, and this message seems quite random. There are absolutly no error messages anywhere, just a page of those numbers.

If the Ubuntu forums didn't have an answer, I doubt FFR will. I hate to say it, but it's Linux, it's not supposed to be easy or user friendly.

Wrong. It's Ubuntu, a form of Linux designed to be easy and user friendly. That's the whole point of that edition of the OS.

Linux is no less logical or intelligently designed, it's just that people are scared of a command prompt and not doing 100% of their work on GUI. What's hard about that?
