I see no real reason, the harder the song the more it should cost. Maybe that song isn't hard enough for 1,000, but I would be more then happy to buy something like revolutionary for 2,000.

well what's the point of selling a really hard song to a n00b...they'll be ready to buy it when they are ready to play. And if they're good but can't afford it, they can easily increase their credits.

If everything was easy, people would complain about the game not having enough challenge. And insomniak is right...if a n00b can't get enough creds to afford the song, chances are they won't be able to play it, anyway.
