    stepmainia help needed

    ok, well i wanna make stepfiles but all i have is the music, so how do i set everthing up to start stepping? oh and change like the start of the song and such like that, oh and i have a .RAR file, how do i make it so i can play the stuff on it?

    *EDIT: i know i spelled stepmania wrong XP*

          To make it short go to the Stepmania website at www.stepmania.com and go to the faqs and then scroll down and go to the "how to make a simfile" faq or if you cant find it go here ---> http://www.stepmania.com/wiki/Create_Your_Own_Songs

          *EDIT*
          Next time check your threads i don't think this belongs in chit chat and invincab1e don't flame he's never made a simfile so keep your baboonish comments to yourself unless you have something to actually contribute to the thread.

                  hey flame! you go to tools and packages exporter (i think thats what its called) and hit the button at the bottom that says "creat song". then you select the mp3 file off your comp and start stepping! to change bpm, its F7 (lower) and F8 (higher). 1, 2, 3, and 4 are to insert arrows and the arrow keys change what beat you're on and the kind of note. hope that helps!
