My computer beeps whenever im on the internet, it doesnt come from my speakers either. Can somone help me???

Try to figure out what's making it beep. Restart your comp. If it beeps while starting up, then this will be easy. If it beeps while starting up, unplug everything one at a time while still keeping the power plug plugged in(like your keyboard, then your mouse, etc.) until it stops beeping. Whatever you unplugged last is what caused it to beep if it does this. It has done this for me before, so yeah.
In fact, if it's still beeping right now, try unplugging stuff before restarting. It might be able to fix itself by simply unplugging and plugging stuff back in.
Like, you know, mess with your plugs. Some people plug an iPod thing in the back of their comp, everyone plugs in a monitor, etc. That kinda stuff.
If it ONLY beeps when you're on the internet, it's probably your modem or router. Unplug everything and plug them back in. This includes pulling the plug from the wall on your router if you use one.
If that doesn't help, well, you might wanna run a virus scan to make sure everything's okay. It shouldn't be beeping constantly after it has started up.I knew this was coming. I just knew it. But somehow, I didn't stop, because maybe I expected someone would stop me first.Comment

to ask my own question without making a thread
my laptop that I got a couple months ago came with a Cingular WWAN installed in it. Now the same laptop series as mine comes with Sprint WWAN's... I know Sprint is tons better than Cingular for data service, but is there any way that I could still use my current WWAN with a sprint sim card (aka any way to unlock a hardwired WWAN in a laptop)
If anyone here even knows the answer, cause its kinda advanced.
AND please dont tell me to get a pc card or usb broadband card, I know I can do that and my mom has a broadband card from sprint, thats not part of the questionComment

This has been asked enough times before. Go ask somewhere where you'll get some good responses. I'm too lazy to try to figure it out given that you give absolutely NO specifics to the situation.
That's like saying "there's this thing somewhere in someplace and it's doing something. can you help me?".

Ah that's caused by a system conflict with the incoming IP address. It triggers your comp's tiny internal speakers.
Search for a folder named "System 32" that's where your computer stores your temporary configuration files. Delete it, and it will reset next time you connect to the internet, that gets rid of the conflict. Problem solved ^___^;;;He who angers you conquers you. ~Elizabeth KennyComment
