Whats a good site to go to if your trying to make a forum? Im looking for one but i dont want to download anything.

You don't want to do that. vBulletin is very serious about their licenses, and will press charges immediately if they find out you're running a copy without a license. Get phpBB or punBB. Both are good software, and you don't have to pay out the nose for a license.

About phpBB and punBB, I'm pretty sure they need you to have access to all of your website's files. Free websites like invisionfree and freewebs and the like don't give you access to those as far as I know, which would make it impossible to use those.

Though I've never actually -made- a forum, I could be wrong. I was interested and read up on phpBB a little while back, which is why I know this.

All are free. Personally, I would choose ForumsVibe.com. But if you're somehow opposed to that, go with EZBoard.
