    Computer Troubles

i was just hoping someone here could help me out with a virus i have on my comp. the explorer.exe (which gives you all your desktop icons and start menu) is gone. i can manually run it through task manager but whatever the virus is deletes it after only a few seconds. i have run many virus checks and nothing has come up. my virus protection as AVG which isn't that great but it works. any help would be greatly appreciated. i may even give a 5000 credit reward. thanks alot

i would just like to add that i am not a computer genius. i know my way around but detailed instructions would be nice.

Boot in safe mode and run anti virus?

If nothing helps, just backup your files and format.
