    Pls Help

    Hiya! I'm wondering how to put backgrounds on songs for StepMania. How do I do that?

      Seriously? Put the background image in the song folder. It has to be big enough for a background (around 800X600 or bigger), or else the game will think it's supposed to be the banner (that's happened to me before)

      C drive -> Program Files -> Stepmania -> Songs -> (name of folder with songs) -> Specific song folder

                  This happens sometimes.
                  -Reloading the song-
                  1: Run Stepmania, and go to "Edit/Sync Songs"
                  2: Go to the song that you put the background picture in (it doesn't matter what level you pick)
                  3: Press ESC and scroll down to where it says "Reload from disk"
                  4: Click "Yes" and then save (ESC -> Save)
                  5: Try the level again

                  It that doesn't work:
                  -change the background-
                  1: Run Stepmania and go back into the Edit Mode
                  2: This time, press "B" right where the song starts
                  3: Go down to where it says "Add change to song still" (this is your background option)
                  4: The name of the image you put in the folder should be there, unless you need to reload.
                  5: Press Enter when "Add change to song still" is highlighted and has the right image you want.
                  6: Save and retry the level.

                      Backgrounds are supposed to be 640x480 pixels and the filename should end in -bg.

                      And then just because it's so much simpler than links method, go to the options screen, go right down and click Reload Songs/Courses to update all your songs at once.

                      Oh, and this should be in the DDR Simulators forum. Check where you're posting next time you make a thread.
