I'm still in high school, but I already know my schedule for this next year. I haven't gotten it yet, but I have to take this -exact- set of classes this year, and then another -exact- set of classes next year in order to get my required credits.
AP Calculus
Honors American Literature
Honors American History
Honors Chemistry
Naval Science III/Leadership Program/Drill and Ceremonies
Business Technology III
Spanish IV
Music Appreciation
Granted, I don't know what order they'll be in, but without a doubt those are the classes I -have- to take next year, and they fill my entire schedule.
And for those who are wondering, "Naval Science III/Leadership Program/Drill and Ceremonies" is the my NJROTC class. My school requires that all students participate in NJROTC.
Of course, my school almost got rid of Spanish IV and Business Technology III and IV due to lack of interest. Then two girls in my class and I complained, and we're sort of the "holy trinity" of my school. The school pays more attention to our opinions than anyone else's, and so we managed to avoid losing those classes. It's great being tied for first in my class (tied with one other member of the "holy trinity," the remaining member being third).
On another note, I'm jealous of you college people with classes that have unique names. I'm stuck with generic crap like "Music Appreciation," while you get "Physiological Psychology."
NOTE: INCOMING RELATIVELY OFF-TOPIC RANT; READ ONLY IF YOU WANT TO.
On that note, the class choice in my school is horrible. Our business technology I and II curriculum is Microsoft Office. That's it. BT1 is units 1-4 in books about Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in that order. BT2 is units 1-6 in that same book about Excel and Word, then units 1 and 2 in Access. Last year, BT3 didn't even have a curriculum; it was more or less a study hall.
There are crap for other electives, too. Our electives consist of two foreign languages and business technology. Those foreign languages are Spanish and French. No German, no Japanese, no Italian, nothing.
Arguably the best curricula in the school are those of the math and science departments, but even those are generic. Math follows this sequence:
Integrated Math I
Integrated Math II (Honors)
Integrated Math III (Honors [which is really Pre-Calculus])
Pre-Calculus
Statistics
Calculus I (yes, that's what my school calls it)
AP Calculus
Science follows this sequence:
Integrated Science I
Integrated Science II (really Biology)
Integrated Science III (really Chemistry)
CP Physics
AP Physics
AP Chemistry
AP Biology
Those are the best curricula in the school. The social studies department is extremely generic information, and the language arts department is just literature of a different region of the world each year. We have no unique or specialized classes. It's broad-range stuff meant to teach what we need as opposed to what we want.
The worst part is we're still three million dollars in debt from our construction five years ago, so we can't afford new classrooms or teachers in order to have new classes!
Now if you ask why the heck I'm going to this school, it's because the alternative is unthinkable. The public high school in my area would drive me absolutely crazy. 50+ students cramped into a room meant to hold 30, not having enough seats in the cafeteria so that people have to sit on the floor, endless confusion about what the heck the school is going to teach, and a student body that makes it impossible to learn anything over all the noise? At least I learn something where I am.
My school, the Delaware Military Academy, may not have a decent class selection, but it's better than the public high school in the area. Click here to learn a little bit more about the school, though our Wikipedia page is pretty horrible right now. You might want to check out the school's website if you're interested, since I can guarantee you it's updated regularly. I am, after all, the web site manager for the school.
*****END RANT*****
There, I've gotten that out of the way. Good luck to all of you in college this year (and if any of you go to MIT, put in a good word for me ;D)
If the thread exists, I can't find it. Anyway, here's my fall schedule. 16 hours, year 2, Psychology, with minor in sexuality marriage and family studies.

PSCI 101A - Introduction to Politics 1
PSYCH 261 - Physiological Psychology
PSYCH 291 - Basic Research Methods

Speech, microeconomics, linear algebra. Stereotypical classes. But hazardous weather and DISNEY? Hell. YES.
PS Tuesdays and Thursdays are hot.
