You can color way better than I can, but work on your shading. Also with the moon in the background like that it puts the light source in the wrong spot casting a shadow in the wrong direction, and under moonlight which is a much more dim light, the shadow should be more diffused, not as crisp as it is.

The photoshop stuff ruins it for me. GJ nonetheless.

funnily enough i was correcting that earlier today at school, i have a much better copy now with more realistic lighting effects

I agree with Darkshark; I think the pencil drawing is nice but the PS background kinda spoils it. Mind posting your updated one?

Aside from the moon thing that was mentioned, the grass could also be improved. I know I thought that brush was awesome too when I first found it, but anyone who knows Photoshop can recognize that default brush easily, which makes it look kinda cheesy.

I'd recommend either doing the background in pencil to go with your drawing, or playing with the lighting and effects in Photoshop a lot more. Give it the same attention you gave your croc, and it should turn out nice. =)

lol i guess i just wanted to dress it up, had a spare 10 minutes on my hand so i whipped the brush out...if you want i could post the original when i get it back
