A cello is also a stand-up bass. It is an oversized violin that makes a super rich sound.

          I play:
          Trumpet
          French Horn
          Ocarina
          Clarinet
          Baritone

My clarinet skills aren't very good, but I'm still working on that. I play the ocarina only for personal enjoyment, so I don't get much time on that either. Either Alto or Tenor Saxophone is next on my list, I just don't know which one I will be able to get my hands on.

I'm a senior in my high school band, and I am used to fill what ever gaps there are musically.

Its not a bass... The Bass is the bass. You know the ones that are so big that the player either sits on a stool or stands up to play. Cellos are like half that size though they are also played upright.

I've played trumpet and french horn for about 12 years.

Wonderful Bite - New SGX Album! You can get it for free, yo!

Sorry SGX. I forgot about that. And it is neat that you played trumpet and French horn. I'm guessing you played trumpet first and then your band director coaxed you into trying the French horn?

In 6th grade I played Tenor Sax, I have no clue why i chose it, but then I hated those damn reeds. The break so easily, then I have to pay 4 bucks for the crapppy ones. And the teacher was an ass..so I didnt play again this year

Tenor Sax reeds are actually VERY durable. You must have been abusive to the reeds, but you can't change the teacher...

I do know how to play the alto-sax. But not very good. And I own a french horn...but I dont quite know how to play it. Anyone mind giving me like the finger button pressing deal...

                                ex. for trumpet: C=0, D=1&3, E=1&2, F=3, G=0, A=1&2, B=2, C=0 etc
