I need a little help PLEASE!

I need to know if ipod can play .zip files?
If not how can you convert them to mp3...if that is even possible?
I just need a little help cause my friend gave me a .zip file and im at the library so i couldn't just bring up itunes. FFR HELP ME!!

Open the .zip and on the sidebar click "extract files"

If its a .wav in there google 'audio converter'

Right click the zip file, click "extract here". Hopefully an MP3 will be there. If not, tell us what format it is (.wav .m4a etc)

ONLY ipods and itunes can play MP4A files.

well it opened as a m4a file....do i now have to convert that to mp3 so it will work on my ipod?

well thanks for the help and anyway itunes converts files for you it has like this build in converter thing cause i had .wav files and itunes converted it for me

I don't trust iTunes anymore, it always F***ing screwed up my iPod.

A real easy thing to do is to make a folder with all your songs in it that are not mp3's and go to windows media player go to add to library and add the folder you have all the non-mp3's in. Then just make a sync list of all of those songs that you now have in your library. Into your ipod.
