If there was an overall smoking ban, many gas stations in predominately African-American areas would close due to lack of Newport cigarette revenue.

1. Knows about the dangers of smoking and don't care.
or
2. Don't believe the dangers about smoking, and won't listen to you.

It's funny because you actually thought you could convince someone to quit smoking. Rofl.

Everyone knows the risks yea but not everyone knows the benefits of giving up in such detail. This is interesting to some. I already knew this but when I gave up smoking 7 months ago this was something that involved and interested me. Oh and when did he state this was a bomb proof plan that this would make people give up smoking.

As much as I value freedom of speech, smoking should be banned because it would be a justified cause. First of all, smoking was said to not cause cancer, but it does. Don't get me wrong, if you want to kill yourself, be my guest, but if others are inhaling your smoke, you are taking away life from other people around you without a good cause. I'm sure people see cigarettes on the floor all the time. What does that tell you about the cleanliness of our environment? If smokers found a way or alternative to not harm others and the environment with their smoke, then I would not care at all.

I'll just shoot up the nicotine then. Would you supply me with hypodermic needles to do so?

Or not smoke around people who don't like it? Your addiction shouldn't be our problem but your making it that way. We couldn't give a flying **** what you want to do mate but then you bring us into it.

Well, firstly this isn't a bad thread. Two or three people have found this topic chit chatable. So your argument (or a pursuit of one) has no grounds, or are you just trolling or looking for an argument? This is why I find no meaning in your posts at all (unless they are the above stated) thus making them spam.

On topic: Anyone who would like to give up smoking I will say this,

When I tried to give up I was on and off all the time. Saying "I will cut down blah blah blah" but in the end I found going cold turkey is the best. You'd be Surprised. It's the first hurdle, it seems so hard but once you get over that one, it just get easier!
