I need Help

my computer is fucking slow as hell

I rund Spy Bot Search and destroy every day and IE ads still constantly pop up

heres a List of suspicious things in my task Manager

-ctfmon
-AUTOUP.EXE
-Massive 70k plus kilobyte IE things
-LEXBCES
-LXPPS
-OPZx4n
-popserver225
-like 13 rundll
-slmss
-Tmou........this thing really messes it up along with UDK1T
whenever I close one of them out like 5 OpZx4s pop up and my computer like dies.....some other wierd things come up also

what could be the problem

I still have 43 gigs left and fucking spyware is killing me

you have to stop all the unneeded processes that are running on your computer

That's what he's saying, Maka, he can't. Go to google, find a good spyware protection thing, and get the hell rid of IE. I personally like Opera...get it at www.opera.com (suprise, suprise) but lots of people like Mozilla better.

Yeah, IE sucks bigtime. I didn';t know how glitchy it was until I started using something better. I suggest Mozilla Firebird. Browse around mozilla.org to find it.

I don't really know how to hunt down spyware when it's installed. See if there are programs when you go to the install/uninstall thing that you didn't install yourself.

In IE: Tools-Internet Options-Security-Restricted Sites-hit the sites button-add url of bad sites-set Restricted Sites level to high

Takes care of most of them for me.

2 things that can help your PC go faster:

Uninstall some programs that you don't use anymore (obvious)

Run Disk Defragmenter.

Also, you said you have Spybot Search and Destroy. I would get Ad-Aware; that's what I have and it works very well. Very user-friendly as well.

Whatever you do, dont go around your Processes and just start ending the tasks of programs that you know nothing about. I did that. It disabled everything on my computer (no internet, no sound, cant do anything, et cetera). I fixed it the same night, but I forgot how.

Well you could end them to see what happens...and then if your computer messes up, you can just do system restore.
