Talk about your bf/gf/husband/wife/etc... To people that don't even know them? Or even to people that DO know them?

I feel like a loser rofl, because I always seem to bring my boyfriend up to my friends, but they don't bring theirs up to me. Is it like, a private thing or something? I really don't get it. And I know, sometimes people don't care at all.. But still..

Anyway, what are you like? Do you just bring them up?
& If you do, talk about them here.. Haha. I'm interested how people feel about their significant other. =)

I try not to bring it up so often. People usually don't care, and it just bores them. Things that may seem important to you may not seem important to other people because it doesn't mean anything to them. What you have with your boyfriend doesn't involve other people, and therefore, it only results them to feel left out.

I guess it depends on who you're talking to. If you bring it up to someone who doesn't care, then it's probably something you shouldn't bring up. But all my friends know each other so bringing them up in a conversation doesn't really mean much.

This is ironic in the sense that you are asking us if we bring up our partner to people who don't know us, yet in turn we don't know you that well and you are bringing up your boyfriend.

That aside, the ring on my finger usually get people asking me questions and in turn I have to bring up the subject of my partner anyway so I don't really have to worry about it, it usually comes up.

Nothing wrong with bringing them up if it relates to whatever you are talking about, so long as you aren't just trying to show off then it's nice and shows that you care about them to tell people about them.

Most people don't like it because if they are single. **** you are rubbing it in their faces.

I get pissed when people bring up their relationship unless i ask or it is relative to the subject. Even seeing omg i heart name 4 month aniversery type msn names annoy me.

Otherwise nobody wants to hear about them and you should really shut up about such things. You are just gonna bore the **** out of people and they will wish for a breakup.

g4z33b0, if you find the right girl, you don't have hassles ^^ The closest thing to a hassle that I've had is reassuring her of the fact that kissing my other girl friends on the cheek isn't something sexual.

i do it only if the person im talking to at least knows them
i usually only do it if the friend im talking to and my boyfriend are friends
most of the time, i dont talk about him tho...not being rude, just...a lot of people i talk to have worse problems, and more important things to talk about, like school...or FFR!
