    Gaming Headset Help!

    I just got a new gaming headset, it plugs into the back of my computer where the speakers plug in... green to green (speakers) and pink to pink (headset) and usb vibration, yada yada yada.

    But when I got to the control panel to try and find my microphone on my headset it doesn't show up.

    Can anyone help me out ?

      Experiment, lol I got one a long while ago to use with CS, I had to plug into 5 different slots and experiment with the controls in game to get it to work right. Can't remember what I did though, sorry.

          Usually it won't show up in the control panel, unless it's an actual USB device, not just USB vibration (mine has the same). Why do you want it to show in control panel?

                      It's in your mic input, if you've got a program that you want to use it, configure it in the program if need be. There's bound to be a setup panel in any game you want to use.

                          Well, if you plugged everything in right, you should just have to go to sound settings, then to the voice tab, voice recording, and see if your mic is even an option.
