My school just had a science fair, and I got 1st place. Yay.

My question was, How Does Music Affect the Growth Patterns of a Plant.

Sorry if this sounds insulting, but I'm pretty surprised schools haven't banned that topic from science fairs yet.

It's way overdone. It was even on Mythbusters, though the myth testing had a drawback due to a faulty water filtration system.

I had two science fairs. One was to test the effects of constantly using salt and sand on roads during winter driving to see if it degrades roads faster, and the other was to test how loud everyday sounds are to the average human ear to determine how often people are exposed to ear-damaging noises daily.

I lost because of those freakin' music plants experiments.
