        Whats fun to do is solve some more complex multiplication problems while playing ddr/stepmania/itg/ffr.

                Rumor is that there is a quadratic equation for figuring out the number of arrows in a song before you play it.

                      Most likely.

                      Also, everything can be explained with math.. it's just that most of it is too complex for me ^^;

                        well there are shapes... and you do have to know when to hit each one with perfect timing. in math if its not perfect, its not right.

                            Lol incorrect, you have to play it first.
                            Unless you can get the simfile of the song without playing it, it's impossible to do so.

                            BTW- as far as I know, there's only one quadratic equation-- (x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac) divided by 2

                                No offense, but considering that you spell "anyone" as "any1" and "wasn't" as "wsnt" I don't know if you would actually be able to understand an accurate mathematical analysis of these games. The math behind game complexity is very advanced and you cannot simply use geometry to solve it. At the very least algebra is required and possibly calculus depending on what you are looking for. Also, since arrows are stepped out depending on the song, you would probably have to look at patterns inherent in these songs. People do graduate level work on this sort of stuff, so you will not find a practical application of mathematics for these games. My suggestion is just play them.
