One-Act Play season in Texas is coming to and end. Sadly .

On the other hand, you can come watch the state competition and watch 8 AAAA (4A) high school plays go out with a bang!

Our school is performing Don Nigro's Mariner for the State title on Friday, May 4th. Our session (the first) begins at 4PM and consists of four AAAA (4A) schools and we are the 3rd to perform within it. The second session is at 7PM.

Has your school done well in the past with one-act competitions? I remember doing my schools 1-act, it's so much fun

well, with our current director, the school went 4 years straight to area. the one before him was only there for a year, she bowed out at zone (rofl)

before then my school has only got to state 3x and never placed

You made state? Congratulations. My school (McKinney Boyd) didn't make it past whatever the first stage was, but it was to be expected, first year and all. Anyway break a leg and all that!

Heh, my school did Don Nigro's "Cinderella Waltz" for our one-act comps.
