Hello old friends and people I've never heard of before,
Have you ever wondered why Synthlight is never around? Or that he only drops in out of nowhere to say "Cheers"? Well, don't feel ostracized any more, for I share your quandaries! Now, if you'll follow me down to my conspiracy, longwinded though it may be?
Synthlight is one of, if not the, creator of FFR (as a site and a game). But it would be strange to see that when the game gained popularity, and the forum got busier, that Synthlight never seemed to say much on the boards? Interesting how a creator can have so little interactiveness with his own fans? Perhaps it was that he was too busy "developing the game." Or perhaps that the small amount of fame immediately went to his head, making him believe that he was now above the lowly forum members? Dubiously, surpassing the fame pretentiousness to rise himself to the level of "Forum Jesus" by teasing the members by returning every now and then just to make a Cheery comment? It is the fame that has captured his mind, and now he mocks us from his pedestal among the Gods themselves?? Blasphemy! I demand that within any decency, Synthlight will see that the only way to prevent the revolt this revelation will inspire afterwards, is to return to his people, his loving forum posters, and interact more with those who endure and respect him?
We need a leader in these forums! Not a Lindsay Lohan (all the fame, twice the pretentious attitude of "don't get near me") of forum creation!
If you're like me, you know that if this message will surely rattle the dubious creator, reading it as he sips his beverage, looking down on us "regular posters"...
Now, I have spent the last year high in the Himalayas trying to find the answer to those quandaries, before this answer fell upon me after meditation. But now I have returned, and I forsee revolution! I forsee the shed of posts, the banning of members, the scramble of moderators to defend the harrowed leader, guns drawn as we hurtle ourselves through their witty posts and thread closures! They shall fall! We shall prevail in our quest! Now come, brothers, and join me in taking up arms and demanding that Synthlight show the respect we deserve!
