How to Make a Quality Chit Chat Thread
Lately, there have been numerous useless, unnecessary threads. Many of these include multiple grammatical and spelling errors, and all of them are unwanted. This is a helpful little guide on how to make a quality thread.
Content
So you are making a thread. The first thing to do while you are typing is to ask yourself - "Will my thread stimulate discussion?" If the answer to this is no, then DO NOT make the thread. This may sound simple but...

ex4: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=65045
ex5: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=64895
None of those threads should have ever even been made, but it's OK, we all learn from our mistakes, and hopefully in the future those users will actually read what they write in the box before pushing the "Submit new Thread" button.
Repeat thread?
The second thing to consider before making your thread is - "Is there a thread created that is similar or the same as mine?". Repeat threads just end up locked, so make sure you put the "Search Forum" option to good use, and actually look before you post a new thread.
Grammar and Spelling
After checking for content and repeat threads, you should check back over your post to make sure your grammar is at least 8th grade adequate (to meet the 13 year old standard). If you are in need of assistance, please refer to http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=18770
After checking grammar, check spelling. Not everyone can spell every word correct, so if you are having trouble, either Google search the word and get the correct spelling, or download Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com) and use the spell check feature. Now that you have content, grammar, and spelling, check for overuse of emoticons. No one wants to see useless emoticons, so as a rule of thumb: if you have more then 2, delete them.
Conclusion
Alright. It's almost time to post your thread. First go back and check over the things you have done already:
Content
Similar/Same Thread already made
Grammar
Spelling
Emoticons
If everything is in order, then go on and post your thread! I hope this helps rid Chit Chat of unwanted and unneeded threads.
