Sometimes, actually quite frequently, when I finish doing something that I was doing for, say, at least an hour, something strange happens. I guess I kind of apply something that related to what I just stopped doing to something else. For example, if I just stopped playing FFR, then I will still be thinking the combo-based scoring way, even if I'm just walking around, I'll start thinking up that taking steps at a constant rate is a combo, and that it gets me lots of points, or something similar to that, that makes no sense, but I quickly realize that is wrong. Another thing similar to this was when I just stopped playing this dreaded Sonic and the Secret Rings game where it seemed so hard to back up to me, then I was just walking around, and thought that I shouldn't go a certain way, since it would be too hard for me to turn around, but of course, it really wasn't. I often do things like this in thinking something that was true in a game I was just playing is true in the next one that I play. Do other people do this kind of thing, or am I the only one?

i can relate to your FFR thing you got goin on, walking in ryhthm to a beat in your head or somthing, but nothing along the lines of "points".

Haha ya when I played competitive Counter Strike, anything I would do I would think about a CS situation or relate it to CS somehow. Now I do it with Enemy Territory or FFR.Comment

It's pretty common ^^ you'll hear stories of Tetris in people's heads... one time during a period of particular Bust-A-Move obsession, I saw two people on TV standing near each other and wearing the same color shirt, and just had the urge to pop them with another guy wearing the same color... XD until I realized how ridiculous and funny that was.
Just be careful not to go driving in a Katamari-like state. I've been in the passenger seat while in that mode before and I just had the urge to run into everything that was smaller than our car, like street signs. Good thing I wasn't the driver XD♪~

Only thing like this I have is after I drive somewhere when I'm walking through the parking lot I sometimes feel like I need to check my mirrors before crossing then I realize that I don't have any mirror so I just turn my head to look.
ps that katamari thing is from a comic
pps oh wait I just remembered. Back when I used to play THPS A LOT I'd think of lines in real life.

I do this with Tetris a lot. I'll look at commercials and try to fit different bricks around different characters heads, feet, etc...
