The show was actually like that, yes. I watched it the odd time as a child. Yes, I believe they never meant for it to be percieved the way that it has been, but now in modern times we would be more inclined to see smut in things.

Why, it's an incredibly old show that was meant for Britain. It's like Blackadder, or Bottom, or whatever. You just don't air them in America because the humour wouldn't be recieved well.

Wow... first off... ROFL! That was hilarious. Kids probably wouldn't get it, and it probably wasn't meant to be perverted. Then again... it is possible it is promoting homosexual rights but I doubt it. The only thing that makes me think it might be homosexual in any way is the guy who's wearing a rainbow shirt...

Edit: after watching this again there are just too many puns. I seriously think the guy who made this was gay.
