No, he's right Moog. It's a good movie, entertaining sure, but really not all that scary.

The exorsist wasn't scarry, she sounded like a freaking cow.

The ring was pretty freaky... but not *that* freaky. It actually had a plot though, omg.

Evil dead 2 = worst attempt at a horror ever. It was pretty funny through =P.

freddy vs jason isnt scary its more of a comedy movie. Anyways you parents think you are a pussy so they dont want you to crap your pants while seeing the movie. Exorcist isnt a scary movie at all anyways

lol, there's so many... bloopers (Can't think of the word) in those moives. Like in evil dead 3, when they threw him down he didn't have his shot gun, yet once he got out he did. And like when all the blood came out of the cellar, 5 seconds later the floor was blood free =P.

The ring was scary, but when you think about the concept (haunted video tape) it seems rather ridiculous...perhaps if they had a better concept it may have been one of the scariest movies ever...

It had a damn fine plot though...

Evil dead 3 was awesome, to the extent of me loving it and buying the collectores Necronomicon for 70, just so I could get that DVD...

The Exorcist is based on a true story about a girl who summons spirits form a Ouija board, and is possesed, during which she kills several people, blasphemes, and masturbates with a crucifix.

This may be offensive to you or your overly religious bible thumping parents.

                        Whatever. To each his own.

If you know the whole story, it makes sense. Well, they explain more of it in the Ring 2. I dont want to ruin it for you.

FYI: Ringu was really really big in Japan with something like 5 movies, a bunch of novels, and a TV mini series.

I have only seen up to Ringu 2, but I have read a lot about it.
