i need sum computar help

i downloaded a movie but it won't play in any program, WMP, WINAMP, etc. It appears to have no format, G-Spot program couldn't detect the format of it either. I am in need of a codec, i don't know which one since i can't figure out it's format. I know it is a movie file, since it's 700 mb, but it just won't play. any ideas?

Combined Community Codec Pack. Google it; it should work.

Edit: I suggest you also choose to play all your video files in Media Player Classic (which comes with CCCP)

Well, uh, I got it from isohunt, and no it's not porno, but i thank you for the lovely assumption. It's The Hills Have Eyes 2. I have come to the conclusion that it's never going to play, even though it is an aXXo rip, and it's weird that one of his files don't work but whatever.

Never heard of this ''aXXo'', but if you need to see the movie so badly, try limewire, my friend has it on his computer.

uhh, yeah if it isn't a hassle or anything, email him.

and i'm not sure of the extension, but i highly doubt anything is going to get it to work, it's probably a virus or something lol

One second, from the information you've given, see what I can find.

EDIT: I don't see the problem, the top two are .avi and .rar.

For the .avi just remove the axxo part and rename the end .avi.

For the .rar, just unzip.

Both should work fine from the looks of it. aXXo is just the site who provided the torrent, much like demonoid or metaltorrents, etc.
