I'm wondering if any of my fellow FFR members are fluent in Japanese, or are learning it. I'm currently taking online lessons and am progressing well, except I have nobody to practice with. Basically, I am looking for a "study-buddy".
Japanese?

Japanese is so freaking impossible...isn't it the hardest language to learn in the world? I'd love to learn it, but hell, I can't even learn German. I'm terrible with languages, so don't expect me to be learning anything more complicated than Pig Latin anytime soon.Comment

English is the hardest language to learn to a non-native speaker.

I am studying Japanese at the moment. I am...okay.
And Japanese isnt the hardest language to learn. It is rather easy compared to English, or Traditional Chinese.
People think, because it isnt in Roman letters, it is hard. But once you learn correct particle usuage, proper sentence structure, and a little conjugation, the rest is just learning the vocabular.
I'll be your "study buddy" if you'd like. I really want to learn the language to the macs. And I hope to someday be fluent in it. Although, I take a class to learn, most of the kids dont care about learning the language. Anata no "study-buddy" wa koko desu.Comment

Dude, german's so simple. It's pronounced almost exactly how it's spelt and then there's the conjugations but every language has that, and then there's the ë's and shit where you pronounce it ee or ä where you pronounce it ay.... At least I think, I'm not sure. Basicly same sentence structure as english, the hardest part's remembering the vocab.Originally posted by Anticrombie0909Japanese is so freaking impossible...isn't it the hardest language to learn in the world? I'm sure there are similarities between Korean and Japanese, but I highly doubt the particles are the same (if korean even contains particles). And if you do not know the correct particles, the sentence makes little to no sense. Although, I know nothing of korean.Originally posted by OtakuDJRjapanese is so ez o_O;;; well for me ^^;;; cuz i already know korean~ and the sentence structure and all that is the same just different words :P but i dun take any japanese lessons or anything ^^;; gomen~

You are my one study buddy? Heh, something like that.Originally posted by jewpinthethirdAnata no "study-buddy" wa koko desu.
My online lessons are really neat. The roman letters are gradually replaced with kanji, so you learn to speak and spell at the same time. I'm still in the stage of telling people I am learning Japanese, then saying something really simple and expecting it to amaze them. Comparatively, to these forums, i'm a postwhoring newb at Japanese
btw Jewpin, mind if I chat with you on AIM?GB CHALLENGE IS HOMOSEXUAL
ARE YOU HOMOSEXUAL?
