I met my girlfriend actually through FFR, haha. Turned out, we both went to the same school district, so she lives fairly close.

So, I'm not entirely against online dating...but if it's someone like... Way da fuk out there, then what's the point?

People who 'online date' need to get out more. That's really all there is to it. Go meet someone. In person. And if you do online date, and that person lives like... days away, then you're super pathetic because you know you'll never meet and it's just to tell people "Yeah, I have a gf. She lives in Cuba though. See, I'm not pathetic." Maybe it's okay if this person lives in the same town as you, and you meet and it's not a scary 50 year old pedophile who rapes you. And if it is, that sucks. But you've learned your lesson. I wouldn't wanna take that risk though. It'd just be so much easier if you just.. go outside.

Online dating reminds me of chobits in a way. MANY People are starting to feel unconfortable about talking to the opposite sex or same sex in person. So online dating can be that alternatives. I might be getting out of line but thats why i kept it not in general.

Online dating is good only pretty much if you've met the person, but you can't always see them. So you can keep in touch and see them if on like, spring break or something.

Real life dating is probably so much better (even though I've never dated before because I fail at socialising). You get to actually see, touch, and be with the person.

I dont know im in a standstill here. Cuz some people just dont have it when it comes to real life so online dating makes em feel better since they got a gf and/or bf. But you dont know who that person is either. It could be a 50 year old guy pretending to be a 13 year old girl! Also if it actually is a kid how do you know that that person isnt hot amongst school and has different dates everyday??!! You really never know unless you meet them yourself. Like i said its a standstill for this young man....
