Button Confusion

I am not exactly what you would call a computer wiz and I was wondering if anyone knows how to take a screenshot. I have heard that you can simply press a button on your computer to take a screenshot. Please tell me how!

Press Print Screen Button====>Open Paint====>Paste.

yea to take an entire screen shot it's just the print screen button
but if you want to take a screen shot of just the top most open window use alt + print screen
just make sure using that button won't make your printer start printing...

Make sure F-lock is off if you have it.

If you have an Apple, press Apple + Shift + 3

If you have a PC, press the button that says "Print Screen" and paste into a document.

Ugh, I hate when people use word for images. I've gotten people sending images to me that are word files. It's just RETARDED. It's like 100 times larger than need be, it's in word format for no reason at all, and it's just retarded.
