    Ad Structure Re-Org

    We are trying out a new order for our chain of ad companies today as well putting in 2 smaller ad companies for some of our leaky areas. If you see anything strange, unusual or offsensive, let me know. We work with 6 or so ad companies and each has hundreds if not thousands of ads that we can control.

      Does taking any ads off decrease your profits at all in any way?

      I don't think it would, but what about the "your page is loading, please wait and look at this Monster ad" or the pop ups? I shrug those off just because I know you're trying your best, but if you could take those off without harming your ad revenue, that would be just awesome.

      Also, I'll post some images. Tell me if you want anything else.

          Yeah, ads like that should be taken off. I have to go through an manually find ads that are offending or causing problems pop-ups etc. It's a tedious task but I hate that crap on our site. I will start going through them in the morning.

              Want me to PM you about what ad caused a pop-up? It's not happening right now, but I refreshed the front page probably 100 times between back when I posted that and now... and it's been Google word ads for the past while, did you disable the imaged ads or something?

                  No, here is what happens.. We are forcing our ad delivery to only show so many ads from each company per 24 hours per ip and in a certain order. So maybe company X gets 5 refreshes for your computer and then moves down the chain to the next company. Eventually it lands at google as the default when it cannot serve anything else.

                          Damnit...would have said something sooner. I got a Circiut City Pop-up add earlier...maybe fifteen minutes or so ago.
