Okay, so I was reading Us Weeky, and I found this article about new precautions being taken for models. It says that the models will be givin more nutritious backstage feedings and daytime fittings, so that the models can get more sleep. Apparently, this whole thing started when the Brazilian model Caroline Reston died due to complications from anorexia. In Madrid,Spain, organizers banned overly skinny models from runways by requiring a body mass index minimum of 18, but, according to the National Institutes of Health, anything below 18.5 is considered to be underweight. So, what do you think? Should the U.S should take more precautions with their models, or are they doing enough right now?I personally think the U.S should do what the people over in Madrid, Spain are doing, but that's just me.
