          Final Four Picks

Final Four: Duke, Mizzou, Uconn, Gtech

          Winner: Mizzou

College basketball will be a parody this year. No dominant teams...at least as of yet.
          Go Missouri Tigers!!

mizzou and gtech are unproven...they dont have enough experience to g odeep into the tourney...plus their bench is short...theyd never have to get in foul trouble

              I'm going to respectfully disagree:

              Mizzou's Lineup:

Rickey Paulding- Senior: Named as one of the nominees for player of the year. Paulding is a great slasher who can also pull up for three or dish to his teammates.

Arthur Johnson- Senior: Great Big man also named for Player of the Year too. Very effective inside getting 19 double doubles last year. Also has the uncanny ability to find open teammates.

Travon Bryant- Senior: Another Good big man. Travon is a great compliment to AJ. Travon usually comes to play, he hustles, gets rebounds, and can surprisingly pull up for three, and hits about 50 % of the time.

Josh Kroenke- Senior: Josh is a very smart player. He makes great passes and hustles like crazy out there. Can also shoot the three very well.

Jimmy Mckinney- Sophomore: Mckinney is a great penetrater and passer. He can also pull up for three. If not already, he will develop into an amazing player this year.

Kevin Young- Sophomore: Another big man with the ability to provide a spark and do some great things.

Linas Kleiza- Freshman- Coming from Lithuana, Linas can do it all. He can pound in inside or shoot it outside. He is an absolutely fantastic rebounder and takes the ball up strong. He play's a very physical style of basketball and will provide trouble for many big men.

Thomas Gardner- Freshman: Thomas has great ball handling skills. He can drive and hit a one hander or pass out to someone else. Looks to have lots of potential for this year.

Spencer Laurie- Freshman: A great guard from Springfield, Missouri, Spencer has shown good things in the few minutes he has recieved this year. He is starting to look a little more comfortable out there right now.

That's gotta be it you say, that's all I've ever seen play this year...wrong.

We have two transfers who will being second semester (in about 4 games).

Jason Conley- Junior: Jason led the nation in scoring as a freshman and a sophomore average at about 28.4 ppg. He also has ball handling skills and can dish to his teammates. Has to potential to help Mizzou greatly.

Randy Pulley- Junior: Point Guard who looks to be the missing piece at guard. Coupled with all the talent at Mizzou, he should be able to penetrate and find the open man.

Consensus: Mizzou hasn't looked great yet this year by any means, but then again who has. Kansas- Close games with UT Chat and TCU.
UCONN- close games with Yale and Nevada.
Duke- Close games with Detriot and Pacific.

Mizzou has an amazing shot at going to the final 4/ national championship. They DO have depth, they DO have experience, and they WILL have a great year.
              Go Missouri Tigers!!

                mizzou lost last night... right?

as far as GT, they are looking good so far. i mean, they beat UConn and then destroyed OU last night (not much of an accomplishment, but whatever).

final four... i really dont think GT will make it that far. sweet 16 is as far as they will go. i havent seen mizzou play enough yet to make a judgement. they look good, but i dont know if they are that good.

i'm personally impressed with my UNC boys. they played a very good game last night with several injured players. speaking of depth, they have none. we have 6 or 7 players right now that can play well. once noel gets back healthy again, we'll be much better off because we will have two big men. i think it was a very good experience for the boys having to run against illinois last night. i think they will go sweet 16, maybe elite 8. next year its final 4 and maybe all the way.

i HATE dook. their coach is a punk, their players are all whiners, and they're overrated. though they did win tonight, they wont be able to hold out all season. they have noone downlow, which will be their downfall. 3's dont win games against real teams.

I hate the dookies too, especially due to dickie v and his bias. But the team I can't stand is the kansas jayhawks. They are the most overrated number 1 and my most hated rival. Good luck to everyone else though this year.
